Check-In and Security

You have several options for checking in before your flight. You can check in online via the airline's website or app, at the self-service machines or at the airline desks at the airport.

Check-in and baggage drop times vary depending on the airline. The airline's website has more information about your specific times.

Please note that check-in, baggage drop and security must have concluded before the assigned timeframe.

We recommend that you arrive at the airport at least 1.5 hours before departure - regardless of whether you have checked in before or after arriving.

Online Check-In

We advise that you check in online before arriving at the airport. It is quick and easy, and it allows you to save time and helps you avoid any inconveniences.

You can check in on your airline's website or app.

When you check in online, you can print out your boarding pass or download it on your smartphone.

If you are only travelling with a carry-on, you can go directly to security.

Check-In at the Airport

If you are checking in at the airport, you can use our self-check-in machines. They are located on your left side as you enter the departure hall. You can also print out your luggage tag.

Self-Check-In

At the self-check-in, you can use your registration number or passport to find and print out your booking. If you checked in while at home, you may scan the barcode.

Luggage Tag Self-Service

If you have already checked in, you can print out your luggage tag for checked luggage. Certain self-service machines are for luggage tags only. These machines are located in the walkway by the parking area and in the departure hall. When you have received your luggage tag, you may check in your luggage at the self-service drop-off.

Check-In Desks

You can also check-in and drop off luggage at our manned desks, located next to the self-service drop-off.

Baggage-Drop

If you are only travelling with a carry-on, you can go directly to the security area.

Two luggage self-service conveyors are available for checked luggage.

You can go directly to the self-service conveyors if you have a self-service bag tag. Place the luggage on the conveyor and scan the barcode on the tag. The luggage will be transferred automatically.

This option is only available if the luggage meets the requirements or you do not have any extra luggage. In this case, you have to go to the manned desks.

It only takes about 45 seconds to drop off luggage but keep in mind that queues can occur, especially when the airport is busy.

Security

Getting through security fast and easy

Before entering the restricted departure hall, you must go through security.

In the security area, there are several instructions regarding regulations for hand luggage, that you must follow.

You enter the security area through the electronic gates by scanning your boarding pass and choosing your nationality (this is for statistical purposes).

When you have put your hand luggage on the conveyor belt, you will walk through a metal detector. Your luggage will also be scanned.

Instructions and directives from the security staff must always be adhered to. The security staff is there to ensure you have a safe journey.

The security staff have a responsibility to confiscate any objects that might present a risk to flight security.

It is important to be at check-in and security well before departure to avoid any queues.
