Vága Airport is a smoke-free area. However, we do have designated smoking areas. 

Smoking before security 

It is only permitted to smoke outside in the smoking area before going through security. 

Smoking after security

It is not possible to smoke after going through security as the departure hall does not have a  smoking area. 

E-cigarettes 

For e-cigarettes, the same regulations apply as with standard smoking. 

There are three exits and entrances or "gates" numbered 1, 2, and 3. Please go through the security check in a timely manner so that you may enjoy the amenities in the departure hall.

There is a big store and a good café in the departure hall. The hall also has nice chairs, sofas and worktops equipped with outlets so that you may charge your phones, laptops and other electronics. 

Many delays happen when people arrive at the last minute. This can lead to the aeroplane not being able to leave at the allotted time, which in turn leads to more delays. So, please be timely- this makes the journey easier for both you and others.
