Our parking facilities are divided into different zones as shown below:

Zone P1, P2 and P3 are for travelling customers. Zone P3 also includes rental cars.

In Zone P4 charging stations are available for electric cars.

Zone P2 has accessible parking spaces.

Please note, the first two hours of parking are free.

Parking zones P5, P6 and P7 are for staff.

We also have a temporary parking lot accessed via the roundabout. This area is intended for both rental cars and regular parking for visitors. 

When you park your car in one of the parking slots, the vehicle is automatically registered in our parking system. Security cameras are in operation in the area.  

Parking Costs

Parking less than 2 hours is free. After that, you will pay according to the price list below.

Methods for parking payments

As a visitor with a vehicle in the parking facilities at Vága Airport, we offer three methods of payment: 

• self-service kiosks
• payment link via QR-code 
• payment link on our website (within 72 hours) 
• on the EasyPark app

You can turn to our Information Desk should you need assistance with payments before leaving the parking facilities. 

If you do not pay for parking before leaving, we will send you the bill in the post. We add an administrative fee of kr. 50,-.

Self-service parking kiosks

Three self-service kiosks are located around the airport. They are located inside the baggage claim, the terminal (by the revolving door), and in the walkway of the parking facilities. 

You pay when the parking period is over before you leave the area. It is an easy and quick payment method.

By QR code on mobile 

There are several signs inside the terminal displaying a QR code. You can scan this code with your mobile or tablet to pay for parking. You pay by putting in your license plate and accepting the parking. This method requires paying by card.   On the www.fae.fo website

If you are unable to pay for parking before leaving the airport, you can pay on our website.

Please note that this payment method is only available within 72 hours of your parking concluding. If you still have not paid the parking fee within 72 hours, a bill will be sent in the post with an added administrative fee of kr. 50,-. 

EasyPark

This payment method is ideal for those who travel or visit Vága Airport frequently. The EasyPark app is available on the App Store and Google Play. Once you have signed up in the app you can pay for parking on your mobile- easy and simple.

In addition to the regular parking fee, Easy Park charges a 15% service fee, with a minimum of kr. 4,-per parking.  

EasyPark is a Nordic business and is one of the largest parking services in Europe. This means that you can, in addition to Vága Airport, use the app in several other countries.  

When signing up for EasyPark, you will be asked to accept their terms and services and privacy policy; this includes giving consent to the processing of personal data like license plate and payment card information. Customers are recommended to read EasyPark’s privacy policy before using both the app and the link here. Note that your data will be processed in the EU.

Annual Parking Pass

For those who travel frequently via Vága Airport bringing their vehicle, it is possible to get an annual parking pass. The annual subscription is 5.000 kr. including VAT.

If you are dropping off a passenger or passengers at the airport, there is an allotted lane on the left of the airport entrance. In this lane, you can stop the car for up to 5 minutes. 

If you want to accompany the passenger (s) into the check-in hall, you must park in the parking zones. The first 2 hours are free for this convenience. 

Vága Airport does not bear any responsibility if your vehicle sustains any damage while parked in our parking facilities.

When you arrive on the premises of Vága Airport, the license plate and the vehicle information are registered. The registered information is used for the payment process, statistical analysis, and to enforce the terms of parking.
