When is the Information Desk open?
The Information Desk is open upon every arrival and every departure at Vágar Airport.
There is however the exception that it is closes when there are no passengers in the flight.
Is there an ATM at the airport?
No unfortunately there is no ATM at the airport.
The there are two banks - Føroya Banki and Betri - in the town of Miðvág and they both have an ATM.

Can I exchange money at the airport?
No - you can not exchange money at the airport.
Is the public bus waiting for passengers if the plane is delayed?
No - the public busses stick to their schedule with SSL - you can see the timetable HERE
Can I bring my knitting needles in my hand luggage?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your knitting needles in your hand luggage.
Can I bring babyfood and subsitute through security?
Yes - if you have a baby through security, the baby can have the necessary food and beverage through security.
Where can I buy stamps and send mail?
You can purhcase stamps at the Information desk.
A public mailbox is located nearby our main office.
Can I store my car keys at the airport?
Yes - at the Information Desk you can store your car key for a fee of DKK 50
Where does the public bus stop at the airport?
The public bus stops right outside the main entrance at the airport.
Where are the rental cars located?
You can find the different car rental suppliers at the old terminal, which is located on your left when you come out through the main entrance.
Here you will also find the key boxes.
The cars are parked in P3.
