The new Faroe airline, FaroeJet, exhibition trip at Vagar

The FaroeJet aircraft, of the type BAe RJ100 accommodating 94 passengers, landed for the first time at Vagar airport at 17.14 o'clock, on the 14/5-2006.

The newly established Faroe airline company FaroeJet, conducted an exhibition trip from Vagar airport with their very first aircraft.

The aircraft is of the type; British Aerospace Reginal Aircr. AVRO 146 series RJJ100. The carrier was built in 1993 and registered with FaroeJet on the 10/5-2006, and has a capacity of 94 passengers.

In connection with their maiden trip, a reception was held at Vagar Airport where many people were congregated.

FaroeJet will begin regular scheduled flights between Copenhagen and Vagar on Monday the 15th. of May 2006. The first flight will be from Copenhagen at 09.00 and is expected to land at Vagar airport at 10,25. The first departure from Vagar will be at 11.30.

Up to and including the 22nd. of June there will be one flight daily, excluding Saturday. From the 23rd. of June there will be two flights daily, but only one flight on Saturdays.
