Construction of the tunnel north of the hangars in the parking area is progressing rapidly,and preparations for blasting the tunnel are now ready.
There will be 4 to 6 blasts in total, with the first blast scheduled for today, Wednesday, 2 September. The remaining blasts will take place over the coming days.
The work is being coordinated with air traffic control and airport operations to ensure minimal disruption to airside and landside traffic.
